A Question for Democrats

I just don't get it

Welp! I was wrong. They managed to push the old man out. I figured he was going to hold on, but alas, they somehow got to him. The reporting I’m hearing on why he hasn’t made a statement yet is that he is so angry and emotional that they are afraid to put him on camera.

There are people who know exactly what went on behind the scenes. I am not one of them. That said, I think after the election we will hear what took place and what the final threat or action was that got him to quit. I’ll be interested to find out what went on in that beach house. It’s easily the most interesting thing to happen in Presidential politics since Barry Goldwater told Nixon he had to resign.

As we all know, the President of the United States dropped out of the race via Tweet and didn’t endorse his Vice President. 45 minutes later, another Tweet was sent out in his name that did endorse her, and we have heard nothing since. Nobody in the mainstream media has bothered to ponder this. They are treating it like this kind of thing happens all the time.

Biden is supposed to address the public tonight from the Oval Office. I assume the address will include no new information and a half hearted “endorsement” of the lady they gave his job to. Thanks for the memories, Joe!

In the end, we all know this really didn’t have anything to do with Biden’s impairment. His obvious deterioration is no longer an issue for the Democrats or their partners in the press in the slightest. Apparently it’s now cured, or memory holed, or back to being called a “cheap fake conspiracy theory”. This was always all about the Democrat electoral prospects. The powers that be figured out that not only was Biden going to lose, but that Democrats were likely to suffer an historic defeat down ballot. So they did what they had to do. They threw the old man under a bus, called him a hero for getting thrown under that bus, and immediately forgot he ever existed.

I guess the real question now is, what will they do when the Dem voters figure out Kamala Harris can’t win either?

My guess is that Biden’s dementia will return with the fire of 1,000 suns, and they will push him to resign the Presidency in order to give it to Harris so she can run as the “incumbent”. Ah yes… the party of Democracy.

I have a question for Democrats:

Do Democrat voters find it distasteful or annoying that their Party, their press, and their elected representatives seem to do nothing but lie to them? Does that not get under their skin in the slightest?

I know, they will say that Donald Trump lies. I guess they have a point… Donald Trump does have a habit of using superlative language, i.e. biggest crowd, worst President, etc… but he doesn’t lie to his supporters about his intentions. The reason he is so popular among Republicans is because he’s strikingly honest about what he thinks.

If Donald Trump is caught in a lie, it’s usually that he’s lying to Democrats about something dumb he said. He’s not lying to his supporters. If Donald Trump says he wants to enforce the border, Republicans know he intends to do that. Whether or not he is capable is an open question… but he does intend to do what he says.

The same is not true of Democrats. They lie to their own constituents about their beliefs, their intentions, what they themselves have said to each other in the past, and what they intend do in the future.

I don’t understand why Democrat voters aren’t more upset by that.

Democrat politicians and their partners in the press aren’t really lying to Republicans. They are lying to their own voters. Republicans never believed their crap on Covid. We aren’t the ones continually shooting our children up with Dr. Bill Gates’ heart attack medicine. We aren’t the one still walking around in a mask that does absolutely nothing and never did. We weren’t the ones who locked ourselves in our homes, and scared the crap out of everyone over a cold. We didn’t believe that cold did not come of a US funded Chinese virology lab, but instead from a pekid pangolin in a wet market. Democrats did that to other Democrats, not Republicans.

Republicans never listened to their idiotic nonsense about defunding the police. We aren’t the ones who stood in front of burned out husks of neighborhoods and called the race riots of 2020 “peaceful” or otherwise justified. We never believed police officers were hunting black men for sport. We were never meant to believe that, because when the press and Dem politicians said it, they weren’t talking to us. They were talking to Democrats.

When it turned out that nothing they said was true, Republicans threw our hands up out of exhaustion and said “Well… duh!”. It was Democrats who were lied to. They are the ones who thought the exclusion zones in Seattle and Portland were some kind of “summer of love”. Republicans always knew they were murder and rape dens. When the truth came out, did Democrats feel deceived, even a little?

Look at what they said about the President. They said that President Biden was fine. They knew that wasn’t true. The President’s condition wasn’t just discovered a month or so ago… it’s been known publicly since 2019. The Democrat press and every single Democrat politician knew about the problem and actively lied about it, therefore preventing their own voters from being able to address the issue and find a solution.

Were they lying to Republicans about the President’s condition and ability to run for a second term? Of course not! Republicans knew he was a dementia patient. We have been saying it for years. They were lying to Democrats, about their candidate. They were hiding the truth from Democrats.

How about now? Now that they have found their new candidate who they know is going to lose this election, they are lying again and saying she’s great and has a chance to win. They refuse to tell Democrat voters the truth… that Harris cannot and will not win the White House, and this was all about jazzing up their base to try and save some down-ballot races.

If the Democratic Party was honest about the situation a year ago, they could have given Democrat voters a choice about how best to proceed against Donald Trump. The voters could have found a viable candidate. There are plenty of them who could actually win.

Did they do that? Of course not! They just threw Kamala Harris in the voters’ laps, and now demand those voters lie and claim she isn’t a worse candidate than Hillary Clinton.

Those Democrat voters are now forced to pretend that Harris wasn’t so incredibly off-putting and radical that they themselves threw her in a river in 2020. Those Democrat voters are now forced to pretend that she wasn’t elevated to Biden’s running mate and eventually Vice President in order to keep the Congressional Black Caucus happy.

Those voters are now forced to pretend that the Democratic Party and the press didn’t keep Vice President Harris hidden away as much as humanly possible over the last three and a half years because every time she came out in public Biden’s approval rating dropped.

Right now, Democrat voters are having to lie to each other about their own candidate for President. They are having to claim that she is viable. They are lying when they claim she is winning in the polls. She is not. They are lying when they say Kamala Harris has appeal outside of deep blue cities. They are lying when they say men don’t hate Kamala Harris… by a much wider margin than women hate Donald Trump.

I am just blown away at their willingness to continue doing this. I am astonished that Democrats aren’t at the DNC right now with pitch forks and torches.

Perhaps that will come when it sinks in exactly how bad things are for them. Maybe in January, when Donald Trump is being sworn in again as the 47th (or 48th) President of the United States, they will turn their ire where it belongs. Not at us… but at their own leaders… who have such little respect for them that they cannot and will not tell them the truth about anything.

Look, I understand the lies they tell about Republicans and Donald Trump. I understand the “very fine people” lie, and the “dictator on day one” lie, and the “bloodbath” and “threat to Democracy” lies. At least those lies are meant to help them win. What I can’t understand are the lies that help them lose. I don’t understand the lies that are designed to keep Democrat voters from addressing vulnerabilities in their own party.

Democrats have a problem with antisemitism right now. Everyone can see it. Their base burns American flags in the street. Just because CNN refuses to cover it doesn’t mean Americans don’t see it. Democrats have a problem with off-putting women running men, young and old, black and white, away from their party. As James Carville has said over and over again, this is a very real problem. How did they address that problem? By installing Kamala Harris as their nominee in a backroom deal.

Even if all of this could be explained by cowardice… and they simply don’t want to say anything to their over-emotional, feminized, bigoted base that might upset them, I don’t understand why the normal Democrats who make up the vast majority of that old and storied Party accept that.

We need two parties in this country. We work best when we have that. I sincerely hope my Democrat friends get themselves together… because they are being honest about one thing… a check on the most radical parts of the right is needed in this country, and without a viable Democratic Party, we aren’t going to have one.

I guess we’ll see what happens.
