Biden and the locked garage

I am going to disappoint some of you here… I’m sorry, I just can’t take the Biden document scandal seriously. It’s just so obviously stupid. I thought the Trump document scandal was equally as stupid. These are Presidents of the United States. They have security clearances.

Nobody has even told us what the documents are, outside of moron talking heads on the TV breathlessly reporting that some of the Trump docs were “nuclear secrets”. They said that as if he had current nuclear codes and those codes could actually be used for anything.

Hey! Not for nothing, but if you happen to come across current nuclear codes to launch a missile, I’m going to go out on a limb and say I don’t think you can just call the nearest doomsday silo, disguise your voice as an 80 year old dementia ridden President, and have them launch on Russia. I’m sorry, I just don’t think that would work… and if it would work, let’s come up with a better system. Make him FaceTime or something.

As I said after the Trump raid, I’m sure Presidents have all kinds of keep sakes. Think about it… If you were President Obama, are you telling me that in your home office in Martha’s Vineyard, you wouldn’t have a framed original copy of your executive order to kill bin Laden? I sure as hell would. That’s a badass keepsake. It harms nobody. It discloses no secrets. It’s also technically classified. But so what? Right?

Also, they were President of the United States. Documents or no documents, they still know a ton of classified stuff, right? I mean… if they were going to sell secrets to a foreign government, they wouldn’t exactly need the physical file, would they?

Why on earth are we all sitting around going all Foghorn Leghorn about how “Well now, see here! That there piece of paper belongs to the people of the United States! It cannot be misappropriated into your home office!” as if this country doesn’t simply set billions of dollars on fire every single day. Honestly, let them keep the damn documents, and maybe stop sending millions of dollars to Nairobi to research the gender expression of migrating dung beetles or whatever other nonsense our country wastes our money on.

This is obviously a naked attempt not to discuss the real issues. I mean, why not talk about the fact that Joe Biden’s son got millions of dollars from the Chinese government and then paid his father $50k a month to stay in his house over the summer of 2020 while his father was running for President? Why not discuss the fact that Trump’s son in law, Jared Kushner (and by extension his daughter) has received billions of dollars in investment from the Saudi Royal Family? Nope, not interested in any of that. Instead we are all going to succumb to the vapors over some files nobody in the world cares about.

It’s not like this idiotic nonsense is likely to land Trump in prison, especially now that it turns out Biden has been keeping everything from the Kennedy assassination order to the Area 51 alien autopsies by his Corvette… or in some cases at the joint Biden-Chinese Communist Party School for Uyghur Rights at Penn.

I just continue to shake my head. Pay no attention to the actual corruption which could have international implications because people keep getting compromised… just look over here at some stack of classified paper that probably describes the proper way to store the White House silverware.

And yes yes, I have heard from many friends with security clearances about how they would be out of a job and possibly charged with felonies if they did the same thing… but they are the fricken’ President. Biden spends a lot of time at his place in Delaware. It stands to reason some stuff will make it there. He’s 80 years old… He has dementia… He obviously isn’t filing and storing this stuff. Hell, he probably isn’t even actually reading it.

Maybe put someone on his giant staff whose job it is to not leave shit lying around. There, problem solved. As for Trump… Hang him for it if it makes you feel better, but for the love of everything holy, shut the hell up about it. I deeply deeply don’t care. Honestly, this probably doesn’t crack my top 25 complaints about either one of them.

George Santos (aka Anthony Devolder)

Well there’s a face you can trust

So interesting news… apparently, if you just lie a lot, you get to be a congressman even if nobody knows your actual name. Yeah, it was surprising to me too.

If you aren’t quite sure what I’m talking about, buckle up buttercup, because this is wild. Apparently one of the GOP victors in this year’s midterms is a man known by some as George Santos. He now proudly represents New York’s 3rd congressional district, which he won in a tight race.

A little about Rep. Santos. He has stated that his grandparents fled the Holocaust and that he is Jewish on his mother’s side. His mother barely survived 9/11 fleeing the South Tower just as it crumbled and developed the first responder cancer and died two years later. He proudly graduated from Baruch College where he was a star volleyball player! He also worked at both Goldman Sachs and Citigroup and was quite successful. He is openly gay (kind of). He owned a successful business but was devastated when four of his beloved employees were killed in the terrorist attack on Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. He also had several charities, the most notable was one where he linked people in need of veterinary services up with crowd funders to help them get their puppies fixed. Oh yeah, he also had cancer.

The only problem is that none of that is true. Yeah, none of it. Except for the gay thing… but then again he literally just got done with a divorce… from a woman, so take that for what it’s worth. Oh, he did have the charity too, but the only thing he did with it was raise $3,000 for a homeless vet’s dog and stole the money and the dog died. LOL.

He didn’t go to Baruch College either, and wasn’t a volleyball player (why would he make that up?). Mom was just fine on 9/11 and apparently passed away in 2021, but I haven’t actually seen the body, so I don’t know. No to the holocaust victim thing too… not even Jewish and from what we can tell his ancestors immigrated to Brazil in the mid 19th century. He never worked for any big Wall Street firms. He knew exactly zero people at the Pulse Nightclub shooting… and I don’t even think his real name is George Santos. Also, no cancer.

His family is from Brazil and George supposedly spent time in both New York City (where he was born) and Brazil growing up. I have no idea if he actually went to college, but there isn’t any record of it. Until recently, apparently everyone knew him by the name Anthony Devolder and interviews with old acquaintances (many of whom are running him down for money he owes them) know him by that name.

One thing that Santos/Devolder is quite sure about though, and one thing that he has stated over and over again on record is… he has never been a drag queen. Never once.

This is just too funny. This guy ran on a “2020 was a stolen election” MAGA super platform, while at the same time ran on an identity politics and victimhood status. It was a pretty effective campaign. I do have one question though…

The dude was a liar. The smallest amount of due diligence would have uncovered it. He even ran for congress once in 2020 and lost. During two congressional campaigns, apparently nobody bothered to look into anything the guy said… and considering there were a lot of claims that contradicted themselves, there was plenty of reason to look… but nobody did. His opponent apparently didn’t do any opposition research. The GOP didn’t look into him at all when he was running for the nomination. Nobody bothered to look at anything. How is that possible?

Apparently… and I was completely unaware of this… but apparently, you can just say stuff. Who knew?

In a completely unconnected turn of events, I’d like everyone to know that I have a robotics degree from MIT, a joint MBA & JD from the Darden School of Business & the Law School at UVA, was a Navy SEAL and I almost killed bin Laden but that asshole Rob O’Neill pushed me out of the way at the last second and stole my thunder, and I delivered a baby in a taxicab on my way to pick up my Nobel Peace Prize. Oh yeah, and models hit me up every day looking for some sweet sweet luvin’. And I have a puppy charity… want the Go Fund Me link?

Hockey pucks and rainbows! 🌈

The alphabet people are all kinds of angry-face again and now we all have to hear about it. Let’s get into it.

So there’s this hockey player who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers. His name is Ivan Provorov. The Flyers were having a gay pride night, and they had special jerseys with a rainbow Flyers logo made up for the players to wear. Ivan is an Orthodox Christian from Russia, and has a strongly held religious and personal preference to not wear the rainbow logo. He said he would just sit the warm up out and wear the regular jersey with the rest of the team during the game. This was apparently completely unacceptable to the woke, and now he’s in trouble.

I am going to out myself here as not much of a professional hockey connoisseur. I think hockey is soccer on ice… and I don’t even care about soccer on grass. I have no idea who Ivan is, and if he were to burst into flames on the ice tomorrow, I might not hear about it and if I did, I wouldn’t care. I know nothing of the sport. I know nothing of the people who play it.

Having said that, I think I do have a general understanding of the average patron who attends hockey matches. Forgive me if I am being snarky, but my guess is that they are much like NASCAR fans but from colder climates. I’m picturing folks who own quite a lot of denim with fewer sleeves than your would think. Guys who see a woman with a clearly visible tattoo on her breast, and think she’s the bees knees. You know… Americans (and the likable kind of Canadians).

I know it sounds like I am being elitist and critical here, but I am absolutely not. These are the people who fought every war this country has ever fought. They are the ones who grow our food and build our vehicles, homes, and offices. They are neither poor nor uneducated… especially when compared to a girl who just borrowed $150k for a gender studies degree.

The people I’m describing are the heart of our nation and every line in their faces is a testament to a life well lived. They love their children and our country. They pay their bills and far too many taxes. They go to church, and they watch a little hockey on… (okay, it’s suddenly clear to me that don’t know which night of the week a hockey match is played… but anyway, they watch it then).

Here’s what I’m trying to say… your average Philadelphia Flyers hockey fan is a good American man or woman. Are their societal beliefs up to date with the latest Washington Post or New York Times approved opinions? Of course not. They despise those people. All those elites ever do is talk down to them and treat them like trash. But that doesn’t make these Americans bigoted or small minded. They live in the same world that the elites do. Most of them have a gay person or two in the family. They just don’t want to be lectured to by people who hate them… and can you blame them for it?

So that brings us back to pride night at the Flyers game. Ivan the hockey player simply said “I respect everybody, and I respect everybody's choices … my choice is to stay true to myself and my religion. That's all I'm gonna say."

Enter big hockey, ESPN, and the rest of the woke world to lecture the blue collars again…

An Actual Gay Responds

First of all, that shirt is a Levitical abomination. Please do not speak on behalf of gay men while wearing that, even if you’re Canadian. Seriously… it’s hideous.

Secondly, normal gay people neither need nor desire a cornucopia of rainbows be shoved down the throats of a bunch of perfectly nice, hard working people just trying to watch a damn hockey game. They worked all week. They earned a night out with friends and family. They bought their ticket and their overpriced bucket of warm Coors Light. All they want to see is some blood on the ice over nachos and beer… so for the love of everything holy, just let them have it in peace.

As for Ivan the hockey player… it’s completely and totally fine. I get it. He doesn’t want to wear the rainbow. He was pretty respectful about it… he just didn’t want to wear it. What, exactly, is the problem? Does everyone have to affirmatively consent to whatever the opinion page at the New York Times decides is okay? It’s ridiculous. Just leave the man alone.

Insufferable. Find me a group of people minding their own business and enjoying themselves, and I’ll show you a frowning scold desperate to explain to them why they aren’t allowed to do whatever is making them momentarily happy. Weather it’s smoking a cigar, or cooking with a gas stove, or driving a big truck, or simply turning the air conditioning down on a hot day… there’s always that one group of assholes who have to insert themselves into someone else’s good time, and throw their insertion right in the punch bowl. Whether its the Branch Covidians, or the climate freaks, or the “everything has to be about race and gays” morons, it really is quite past time to stop being so polite, and start telling these people to go jump off a pier.

Hockey fans don’t have to be made to cheer at who I date. As a matter of fact, I would kind of prefer if they didn’t. I don’t even own cut off denim, and frankly I don’t feel close enough to them to want their participation in my relationships. So let’s all take a breath and go back to whatever we were doing.
