What the hell was that??

Here’s the deal, you dog faced pony soldiers, I’m not going to do a play by play reaction to that shit show we all saw Thursday night. It was a disaster. I received a text at exactly 9:06 PM from a pretty moderate, very smart friend of mine that simply said “holy f*ck”. It went down hill from there.

If you missed the debate, you should watch it… in all of its horrible glory. It is important to see, and it is historic. The debate was fair. It was well moderated. It was what it was, and it remains there for anyone who wishes to see it.

From the moment that the President of the United States of America left the talons of his Lady Macbeth wife, to the rambling, nonsensical, dementia addled blither that he slurred through for an hour and a half, to the mystified gaze into an abyss of horror that he seemed to be staring into whenever he wasn’t talking… mouth agape, eyes fixed on nothing of this world… it was jarring. It was breathtaking. It was sad and awful and embarrassing and… frightening.

As if all that wasn’t enough, his wife from the deepest pits of hell then clip clopped onto the stage, hooves and all, to retrieve him after the blood bath. We watched, again, in stunned horror as he attempted to negotiate a couple of stairs while clinging to her bony claw as if she were the oarsman to take him across the river Styx. But she is far too cruel to take him. She simply led him back to purgatory where she will attempt to keep him for four more years.

Joe Biden is non compos mentis. That’s obvious. It’s undeniable.

They all knew

It has been well known that Joe Biden was slipping since about 2019. It was a major issue in the 2020 Democrat primaries and was openly discussed… right up until Biden became the presumptive nominee, when any mention of it immediately disappeared from the airwaves.

Once it was determined by the corporate press that Biden was to be their guy, legitimate questions about his fitness were answered with gaslighting nonsense. We were told Biden all of a sudden had a “lifelong stutter”. It didn’t matter that Biden has been giving televised speeches since the Nixon administration. It didn’t matter that nobody had ever seen or heard him stutter.

“He has a stutter, you dirty racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe… and anyone who says otherwise hates colored crippled homos… or something.”

When they couldn’t blame the brand new life long stutter because he was rambling about knife fighting Corn Pop at the integrated pool he used to run, it was just “Joe telling stories”. As if being a habitual liar is somehow a good thing. He fought Corn Pop all the way to the top of his law school class while driving a truck and writing ballads to his hero uncle who was eaten by cannibals during World War II.

“Good ole Joe. Always telling those fun stories. He’s like your grandpa!”

If that didn’t fit, they just chuckled and said “Come on, we all know Joe is a gaffe machine”. As if saying the wrong thing to the wrong leaders at the wrong time is acceptable for a President of the United States.

The obvious and accelerating decline over the last 4 years has been explained away as anything other than what was obvious… that the old gray mare just ain’t what she used to be. In their panic over his debate performance on Thursday, they settled on, “he has a cold”.

Finally, the gaslighting wasn’t going to work. There’s just no spinning this, though it’s not stopping many of them from trying. From “yeah but Trump lied about everything” (itself a ridiculous lie) to “Biden had an off night. The debate was bad, but lots of sitting Presidents have a bad first debate”, they are desperate to do something to move on from this.

As for who these people are, they are just about everyone in the Democratic machine. They are Barack Obama, Joe Scarborough, Van Jones and the CNN back up dancers. They are MSNBC and WaPo and NYT. They are the entire White House staff, especially cabinet members and senior aids. They are the campaign and the 51 intelligence officers who claimed Hunter’s laptop was a Russian plant. They are everyone in mainstream media… and their credibility has been shattered… and they know it… hence the panic.

How was this allowed to happen?

This is a legitimate question. It’s painfully obvious that the Democrat apparatus, and particularly those close to Joe Biden, have carefully managed his interactions with the press and the public. They didn’t do the Super Bowl interview earlier this year (a more friendly venue does not exist). They do their best to keep him on script with a teleprompter. They send their lying sycophants in the press out there to claim that behind the scenes he’s a dynamo.

They always understood the subterfuge wouldn’t hold up against antagonistic forces like the dreaded ‘MAGA Republicans’ and unfriendly news outlets, but for normies… people who just live their lives not paying very close attention to politics, and still get their news from YouTube clips of CNN or the New York Times… they just called any questions about his fitness another right wing conspiracy theory. They figured they could just keep him walled up through November. After that he could die or retire or whatever, and that idiot Kamala would be their new puppet.

So, we ask again… how in the hell was this allowed to happen?

The answer is probably simpler than you think. I think they never believed Trump would agree to an early debate, on CNN, with Tapper and Bash moderating, with no crowd. They figured Trump would take a stand on something and they would then claim that he was refusing to debate and fix the problem that way.

Say what you will about Donald Trump, the man has great instincts. He saw that trap a mile away and within minutes of the Biden campaign offering the debate, Trump publicly accepted and refused to negotiate on any single significant point. He said, “Anywhere. Any time.”

Then the Biden camp had a problem. How were they going to do this? That’s when the hubris came in. Like any declining person, Biden has better days and worse days. On his more lucid days, you get his State of the Union speeches or his better comments to the press. They figured all they would have to do was try to engineer a ‘good day’.

They took him up to Camp David for over a week. They rested him and tried to get him to memorize a few facts and figures. They did everything they could.

And understand… their bar was low. All they had to do was avoid a total meltdown and the press apparatus would do the rest. If Biden just kept it together a little bit, the press would then dutifully claim that Trump had a terrible night and lied about everything and that he was very mean, orange, and bad. Any stumbles by Biden would be explained by his ‘lifelong stutter you filthy racist’.

Unfortunately for them, Biden didn’t have a good day. Exactly how bad it was is unknown, because we don’t get to see Biden most days. But based on past performance, it was a rough day. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t talk. He was very confused and unable to keep a train of thought for more than a few sentences… even at his best moments in the debate.

For his part, Trump played it masterfully. He made his case to the American people and for the most part allowed the corpse standing to his right speak for itself. Trump was still Trump. He is incapable of being anything other than the boorish maniac that he is. That said, he was relatively restrained and managed to resist the urge to bully the old man into tears in front of millions of suburban women who already don’t like him.

To answer the question, ‘how was this allowed to happen?’ The answer is that the people who have been lying to us for the last few years aren’t very good at their jobs. They wrote a check their addled candidate couldn’t cash. They didn’t have an exit strategy, and they… just hoped for the best. They are incompetent morons and they think the American public is functionally retarded. It blew up in their faces and that is why they panicked.

I think that’s pretty much undeniable at this point as well.

What, exactly, was exposed?

A few things were exposed on Thursday night. First, it’s now obvious exactly how bad off Joe Biden is. As I said, many people suspected this, but we didn’t have gaslight resistant evidence for it. Only a week ago the press, campaign, and White House were all in lockstep that any video out there of Biden freezing up or acting like a later season Walking Dead zombie was a “Cheap Fake”. As I mentioned, Morning Joe Scarborough and his delightful spouse Mika were claiming that Biden was “better than ever before”. Their willingness to lie to the American people about very important matters, like the health of the President was also exposed.

Several other things were exposed as well. First and foremost, it became undeniable that Joe Biden is not in charge of the Executive Branch of our government. Real questions are being asked about who is actually running our country. Is it Dr. Jill, Edith Wilson style? Is it Barack Obama from a secret Oval Office on Martha’s Vineyard? Who is in charge?

Again, the answer is probably less sinister than all that. The staff is probably running the country. The Secretary of State is doing whatever he wants. The same is true of Defense, Justice, Intel, Interior, Homeland Security etc.. There’s no accountability and no one to answer to. Which probably answers another question… why is everything going so badly?

Half of the people who are secretly in charge are from the far left wing of the Democrat Party. They are instituting radical trans policy, race equity, and other Marxist nonsense. The other half are corporate kleptocrat Dems who are robbing the Republic blind. That’s what’s happening in government right now… and the “steady hand of moderate experience” that we were promised in Joe Biden is mostly blowing bubbles in his milk on the third floor of the White House, well away from prying eyes.

And now we know.

What happens now?

As I write these words, right now, there is panic in the power structure of our country. They are not panicking over Biden’s dementia. They’ve all known about it and watched it in real time for years. They are panicking because they have been exposed to the American people.

Some of them would like to trade Biden out for someone else. I have seen the calls for it. I have bad news for them. Biden isn’t going anywhere. Let me say that again… Biden is not going anywhere. He doesn’t want to go anywhere. His wife doesn’t want him to go anywhere. The people robbing the Republic don’t want him to go anywhere, and the radicals who are instituting their ideology don’t want him to go anywhere. Everyone is getting well… except Biden… and the American citizenry.

The fact is that Biden is the nominee. The press is going to calm down and settle into the delusional fiction that “Biden had a bad debate, so what?” They will catch their breath and move on and try not to acknowledge what we all saw. Trump will say something dumb and they’ll shift the news cycle and pray that people forget. They’ll pump the old man up with more amphetamines than a San Francisco bum, and keep him on prompter and continue lying like before.

Trump will probably win the election and they will do to him what they did last time… lock step lie about everything they can think of and hope something sticks.

Unfortunately for them, we’ve already seen the Great Oz, and no amount of begging us to pay no attention to that man behind the curtain will get us to look away. We saw what we saw. As anyone who has ever had a secret exposed knows, you can’t ask people to pretend they don’t know what they damn well know, even if those people love you. And that’s undeniable.

Whether or not Trump can surround himself with people who can actually fix some of these problems is an open question. In his defense, he does seem to have learned a lot over the last 8 years. I guess if they could hope for the best with Biden, we can hope for the best with Trump. It’s all we’ve got. That’s also undeniable.

No More OLDS!

Honestly, I’m pretty angry. I’m a patriot and I love our country. I like the people who live here and I like our culture. I think we are a great country. It was upsetting to see the President of the United States in such diminished capacity. It was so avoidable. The power apparatus seems to be devoid of even the tiniest sense of duty to the American people, and that’s both frightening and upsetting.

The worst part is that the President isn’t the only one in this position. Dianne Feinstein’s decrepit former self was wheeled into the Senate where she mumbled incoherently until her corpse began to decay so much that staffers complained and finally had to admit she was dead. Mitch McConnell had a goddamn stroke on live television. Pelosi, far more with it than many others, was well into her 80’s as Speaker of the House… we have no idea what her senior moments were. Chuck Grassley is the President pro tempore of the US Senate and the Ranking member of the Budget Committee at 90 years old. Hell, the spry non-demented Presidential candidate is 78.

It is often asked, why don’t these people retire? I think we might now have our answer. They are retired. Their staff just runs everything and they occasionally get trotted out like an old race horse to be seen once in a while before they go back to blowing bubbles in their milk. But the corrupt corporate connections, non-profit initiatives, pet program budgets, and local pork are too established for anyone to want the gravy train to be threatened by new blood in the big chair.

One of the best fixes to our current problem is to get rid of the gerontocracy that we have slipped into. It’s time to tell Granpop and Meemaw that they aren’t allowed to run the country anymore. No more olds. I don’t give a damn about their feelings. I don’t give a damn about their experience… they are welcome to write a letter to their new President or Senator and give all the old person advice they want. They all need to go the hell away.

At least with corrupt young people, they won’t be controlled by a bunch of DC staffers who are too stupid to get real jobs.

And that’s undeniable.

Post Script

For those making the argument that our enemies are going to try something now that they know the President is a house plant, I’d like to give you some good news. They knew before this. They have known all along.

The President’s condition is not new information to our allies or adversaries. Putin already made his move in Ukraine, as did Iran in Israel. As for China, I think their intent for Taiwan is for a political takeover, not a military one… just like they did in Hong Kong. The rest of the world is just waiting to see what happens next. If Biden is somehow reelected, more bad things will happen… but my guess is that most world leaders are preparing to deal with Trump again. So take a breath, Charlene… we probably aren’t getting nuked today.

Raising the bar again America. Well done.
