Biden’s Build Back Better Blunder
The US Senate is split 50/50 Republican and Democrat, with blessed Veep Harris as the tie breaking vote for the Dems. (Well done Donald Trump… and yes, it is his fault)
The Biden administration wants to spend a couple trillion dollars on … something. That’s not me just being cheeky. I legitimately have no idea what’s in this thing. If I had to guess, it’s a pile of pay offs to Dem states and districts, new taxes for “climate change” (whatever the hell that is), funding a study to determine why flowers are racist, money to teach children to hate America, and extra head wax for Ayanna Pressley. If I’m missing something, feel free to let me know.
They are calling it “Build Back Better”. If you ask anyone what that means, they will literally pat you on the head and leave.
The bill has been trying to pass all year. The infighting in the Democratic Party between the wokes and the cowards pretending to be woke… and Joe Manchin… has has delayed it several times. I could get into the minutia of all of it with reconciliation etc… but just trust me when I tell you it’s been a shit show.
Long story short, the bill has passed the House and is now in the Senate. There is no Republican support, so all 50 Democrat Senators plus Historic Vice President Kamalaladingdong must vote to pass the bill. The current hold out is Sen. Joe Manchin, Democrat from West Virginia. He’s a “blue dog” Dem in a deep red state and has no reason to vote for it. His position has been pretty consistent from the beginning of the debate. Why nobody listened to him… I assure you I don’t know.
Further, Manchin is really just the lightning rod for about 10 other Senators who don’t want this thing. Manchin is in a blood red state and they only need one “no” vote to kill this monstrosity and he’s agreed to play the heel. It’s going to fail and anyone with half a brain knew it months ago when they passed the Infrastructure Bill without connecting this brobdingnagian expectorate to it.

COVID Crazy People
No, I will not quit talking about the COVID neurotics out there and the new ‘Omigod’ variant. It’s time to stop screwing around with these people. If you live in one of those ‘blue’ areas where they are torturing your kids and killing businesses, it’s time to get angry. Learn the phrase “will not comply” and use it. Seriously, get some balls. The rest of us did over a year ago. Trust me, it will be fine.
The New York Times had an opinion piece out on Thursday by one of these freaks. Honestly, let me talk to one of these people in person. Just tie them to a chair and let me read them stories from people who have gone through actual peril before.
Maybe I’ll read a passage from With The Old Breed about the Battle of Peleliu or Okinawa, brilliantly recounted by E.B. Sledge… or a story of the Western Front by Hemingway. Anything to put this quarkishly tiny issue into perspective for the overeducated, overpaid, over-indulged, personifications of vagininity that apparently make up the class that calls themselves “elite”.
Also, and not for nothing… but you parents out there who are so overprotective of your kids and afraid literally everything… Have you thought for a moment about the repercussions of scaring the absolute shit out of your little Tommy or Tina every time the sun comes up? You are going to create a generation of bigger pussies than the last one… and I’m getting too old and too grouchy to put up with them.
I guess the silver lining is that the few who aren’t cowering in the corner over nothing will be pretty successful. They will easily out perform the crying sacks of nerves when the time comes. Good for them, I guess.
The Kim Potter Trial
It’s Christmas time and I have been a little slow at work, so I’ve actually been following the Kim Potter trial relatively closely. In case you don’t know who she is, she is the police officer who mistook her firearm for her Taser and shot and killed Duante Wright (the father and aspiring college student) while he was resisting arrest. This all took place during the George Floyd fun last year.
It was an obvious accident. Even the prosecution isn’t claiming she did it on purpose. She is charged with unintentional second degree manslaughter and could be facing decades in prison. The trial has been pretty interesting. She actually took the stand yesterday.
She wasn’t as effective as Rittenhouse on the stand, but then again the prosecutor isn’t as functionally stupid as the guy in Rittenhouse’s case. All in all, she did fine.
My opinion… and for what it’s worth: She made a mistake. She and the city are civilly liable. Having said that, what ultimately caused Duante Wright’s death were his own actions. He was a life long violent criminal who was driving a car with no license, no insurance, and had a bench warrant for a gun charge (not his first by a long shot), and was high as giraffe pussy. When the officers tried to arrest him he did what criminals sometimes do. He tried to flee in his vehicle. In the course of him trying to escape, officer Potter, a 26 year police veteran, grabbed the wrong gun (her Glock instead of her Taser), and accidentally shot Wright, killing him. (A loss to those who loved him… and literally nobody else)
It is a terribly sad situation. The woketavists rioted… because they have about as much grace and understanding about a good person who made a horrible error as Genghis Kahn. Now Keith Ellison wants another cop’s scalp for his wall. By the way… Keith Ellison was run out of Congress because he used to beat the hell out of his “girlfriend” (read side piece), and it became public. I thought you should know that, just in case you were inclined to think the “bad person” is sitting at the Defense table.
My prediction is a hung jury or acquittal… but we will have to see. Closing arguments start Monday.
This… Is CNN
Something is happening over at CNN. And no, I’m not just talking about Cuomo or the fact that just about everyone over there is in a sex scandal. I’m also not talking about John Griffin, possibly the worst person to ever live. Something else is happening.
I am seeing responsible articles pop up on their website from time to time. They dumped Cuomo. Zucker is about to be fired. I think the company is about to move toward real news… Let’s hope so. We need it.

What event in the last couple of years better exemplifies the word “insurrection” best, January 6th or CHAZ?
Just so you don’t misunderstand me… both were bad. One was a riot, one was a seizure of territory and government. You tell me which was which.
I love these people and their extreme language. It was an insurrection! We almost lost our democracy! Our republic was hanging by a thread!
Or maybe a bunch of idiots on the right got the dumbass idea that they should act like idiots on the left for a couple of hours. It was wrong. Trump encouraged it. Say whatever you want about it… but I’m not willing to listen to a single syllable from the folks who paid to have the real insurrectionists bailed out of jail.
To quote one of the smartest men I’ve ever had the pleasure of learning from… “There’s a certain kind of stupid you can only get in college.”
