Why Are They Losing
Is the GOP that popular?
Not really. The GOP is getting ready to head into a civil war between Trump loyalists and DeSantis folks. There are plenty of reasons not to like the GOP. That isn’t it.
So why is the DNC about to get wiped out?
There is an answer to that. For some reason, the only thing you ever hear out of the Dems these days is why you shouldn’t be able to have what you used to have. You want cheap gas? They tell you about climate change. You want your kids to have an innocent childhood? Well, what about the poor transeses? You want to pay low taxes? Don’t be so greedy. You need government. You want free speech? You can’t have that either… think of the “misinformation”.
How about cheap abundant electricity? Nope… solar and wind are the only things we can use. Safe cities? Don’t be so racist. Also, crime isn’t real. A powerful military that’s capable of deterring our enemies? Let’s make it woke. How about good jobs and domestic manufacturing? Only if companies can successfully navigate the regulations and pay taxes and deal with unions.
Then there was Covid. Do you know that masks don’t do anything? Well don’t tell anyone. Are you concerned that the vaccines might be dangerous to young people and aware that Covid is not actually dangerous to young people? Again… shut up. Do you think it was dumb to shutter small businesses and destroy people’s livelihoods? You are murdering old people. Do you think the virus came from a lab in Wuhan? Racist! Don’t you know it was dirty yellow Chinese eating bats like primitives!?
They call you corrupt and ignore the fact that the President’s crack smoking, hooker chasing, pistol toting, idiot son was selling Biden’s influence all over Europe and Asia and kicking money back to “the big guy”. They call you a conspiracy theorist for bringing that up! And what were the two main countries involved?? Ukraine & China! Those two countries sound familiar to anyone?
Speaking of Ukraine, don’t even begin to question the tens of billions of dollars we are spending to prolong that terrible war and risk a nuclear exchange with the Russians. Don’t bring that up at all or you are a Putin Puppet or some such nonsense. Come on… why don’t you want to risk a nuclear war over our longest and deepest ally… Ukraine.
They defend crazy people putting pornography in middle school libraries. They insist that your 13 year old has the right to go on chemical castration drugs, and in some cases sign up for life altering surgery without your permission. They claim to be in favor of gay rights, but when actual gay people speak up against that barbarism, those gay people are called homophobes. (Seriously… that’s happening)
They deny that Joe Biden is completely addled. They forced Kamala Harris on you as his successor. They yell and scream and lie and call you every name in the book.
And the gaslighting… Oh the gaslighting:
How could anyone question the outcome of a free and fair election!!! They screech after changing election rules all over the country to the point that a man who didn’t even campaign got more votes than any candidate in history. At the same time they completely forget that they spent years denying the 2016 election.
Hillary Clinton herself went on and on about it. They appointed a Special Counsel and spent tens of millions of dollars on it. They still say it if you catch them at the right time.
Stacey Abrams still hasn’t conceded the 2018 gubernatorial election in GA… and she’s running again. I guess she thinks she’s running for reelection.
And now they are all over TV and the internet prepping the ground for the big defeat. It’s Russia! It’s ‘misinformation’. It’s corruption! “It’s gotta be something!!!!!” They will yell and scream from every corner. “It just can’t be that we don’t control the narrative anymore and nobody believes us. It can’t be that!”
But in the end… if the votes are counted correctly, we are about to see a once in a generation political shift. The question will be whether or not the GOP can hold it.

My fear is that it will be a squandered opportunity to actually revitalize our country because the momentum that is shifting to favor conservatives will quickly dissipate if they don't use some God damn common sense and actually work to unite, engage, educate and empower the new factions that are aligning themselves with traditional conservatives. I hear people talk about how the Presidential race is a lock and it worries me because if the Republicans engage in petty quid pro quo attacks and virtue signal it will be a short lived shift instead of a decade long resurgence of the Republican party.
Your litany of the Dem problems and excuses approaches art in the written form. They have done this to themselves with speed and dexterity. The first week War on Energy executive orders were a bloody disaster that began the entire stream of failures.
The expectation of those things is a fundamental endeavor that should be solvable by anybody with a mediocre third grade education.
If the Dems had simply ignored DJT, he would have faded into obscurity, but they were unable to do that and thus they have provided the energy that has kept him afloat.
I predict the Dems indict Trump two weeks after the elections tom'w. Set your watch.
Trump had great policies, delivered a superb economy - best since 1776 - fronted up America's enemies, scared our enemies (and friends), and turned over rocks to expose almost every legacy mistake in US foreign policy.
He did it in a blustery, uncouth manner - which was part of his charm to some folks - but became his Original Sin though if he hadn't his detractors would have found a Substitute Original Sin.
He beat both the GOPe and his opponents.
It is time for Mr. Trump to pull the lobster traps and head back to port whilst bequeathing the boat to Pompeo, DeSantis, Haley and others.
His policies and their leadership and delivery are a winning formula.
