Well the moderates in the Democratic Party are completely silenced now by the hard left... The one exception being Joe Manchin who is an obvious outlier being the last Blue Dog left.
So I guess the press and and pop culture will remain pretty much the same. The difference is that they won't really have an opportunity to put anything into law. There will be some more Executive Orders, but those come in and out with each administration.
The big difference will be committee chairmanships and investigations. Guys like Fauci and Teachers Unions and CDC officials should worry. They are going to have their communications subpoenaed and are going to have to testify in a way they haven't had to before. Things will get pretty uncomfortable for them.
But make no mistake, things turn. If the GOP wins in the House the way I think they are going to, it's possible that they hold a majority for a generation. The Senate will likely be back in play in '24.
